Abandon the conventional and embrace the unexpected! Looking bACK
Abandon the conventional and embrace the unexpected! For three hours each morning join the supportive company of women who want to explore their truth and stretch their creative muscles through the craft of writing. Powerful writing exercises, supported by meditation and guided visualization stimulate the imagination, silence the critic and fix pen to paper. This workshop provides a solid beginning for anyone starting out on the writing path and a boost for those already on their way. Experience the thrill of seeing your thoughts and ideas come to life on the page. Writers of all ages, genres and levels welcome. Scholarships available.
Like pearls at the bottom of the sea, our most precious inspirations often lie buried in the recesses of our hearts and minds. Without access to this deeper knowing it is not possible to fully express our creative selves. In a safe and nurturing environment we will take a deep dive into the essence of who we are and bring to the surface what it is we truly want to say. This workshop is for anyone interested in using writing as a tool for self-discovery and to bring a deeper resonance to their writing. Writers of all ages, genres and levels welcome. Scholarships available.
It is through the details that a reader connects with a character or place, and only when these details can be seen, heard, smelled, tasted or touched is that connection complete and profound. Spend time with your imagination as you explore the fascinating realm of the senses. Taste colors, see music, feel scents, hear touch and smell images. Writers of all ages, genres and levels welcome. Scholarships available.
Whether you have questions about future employment options, how to spend your free time, new family arrangements, or issues of health and housing, this workshop will give you the tools to find answers. Using journaling as a vehicle, we’ll start with an assessment of your current status, spend some time thinking and dreaming, and end with a plan of action. If you’re wondering what will come next in your life, this workshop can help you decide. Resources for further exploration will be an important part of this workshop’s toolkit.
